MINISTRY OF THE MIND, 2019
SYNOPSIS:
Ministry of the Mind (2019) is an anecdotal story around the balance between work and play and the detrimental effects the imbalance can cause to mental wellbeing. HE/HIM has been pragmatic and hardworking since a young age when he had an epiphanic moment of wanting nothing else but success. However, when the embodiment of productivity and efficiency, THE MINISTER, becomes a permanent addition to his head space, the ship begins to rock and the aftermath is revealed.

ROLE - FRIEND:
Gender-blind casting, of a friend of the main character (HIM) who entreats them to come out for a simple, single drink (or two). The main thing required is a good sense of familiarity between this actor and that playing HIM. This role is minor but carries plenty of emotion in the story. Emotions of excitement, familiarity and concern will feature most prominently in the role.
