Juanfi has felt the creativity call since a very young age. As a child, he studied

music, piano and singing for 5 years in the Seville College of Music. As a young

adult, he took lessons in ballroom dancing (Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata,

amongst others) and boxing / thai-boxing (taking part in regional competitions).

Later in his career, he also learned how to play the ukelele and percussion

(Spanish “cajón” and drums).

It wasn’t until he moved to Madrid that he discovered his true passion: acting.

In Madrid he was part of the Jaleo Theatre Company since 2012, playing the

Spanish plays WOMEN AT THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

and THE 80’s ARE OURS. Juanfi also learned the acting techniques based on

W. Layton’s method at the Espacio Devoradores School (2015 - 2018). He has

played Oberon in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, played Uncle Charlie

in AUGUST by T. Letts and directed by Carlos Martinez Abarca, and he has

also performed some micro theatre pieces (short versions of the play

CARNAGE, of the movie THE APARTMENT and the TC Series LITTLE BIG

LIES).

In 2018 Juanfi moved to Bristol where he is currently based. He is part of the

Reimagine Theatre Company and has performed Ted in WASTED (K. Tempest)

at the Park, and he has been improving his craft as an actor in English in the

Bristol Acting Academy with the Showcase Course.
