In doing my MA in screenwriting at Bath Spa University, I am required to make a short film for my final piece, to be shown in front of an audience. As an avid fan of horror cinema and the techniques filmmakers employ to create the maximum scares, I can not imagine wanting to do anything else. I live in Corsham which is imbued with a ghostly, otherworldly vibe and is the perfect setting for the film I want to create. Being only 5-7 minutes long, I want the film to use the pure language of cinema to convey its story, using every film-making technique to create what only cinema can.
