When a local white man is faced with losing his girlfriend and future son, he is faced with a reality of losing everything before it’s even begun. No hope and on benefits, he seems a lost cause to turn his luck around.

But what at first seems to be his untranslatable and shy Asian neighbour soon turns into a kinder and wiser shoulder to lean on, handing him an opportunity to redeem himself.

A story of how the most unassuming of people can sometimes become our guiding light, and when we understand the thread that ties each of us together, the biggest way to repay someone's kindness is a gift that really touches them in return.

Language is only half the way we communicate.

The rest is through action.
