synopsis Purgatory is a place miles under the ocean where humans provide the heat to warm up Tashin’s citadel for 33,000 years as interest and payments for debt taking against their souls. Directly above purgatory is the floating city of enlightenment in the middle of the ocean, which was Suje’s intended escape from his mundane life as a carpenter's apprentice in a little desert town. Lost in transit and famished to the point of death in the hotest desert heat, Suje accepts an apple infested with mind altering worm, water and a ride from a flamboyant traveler on a pink camel, in exchange for anything. His refusal to turn a trick with his ass leads to a tussle into the mouth of a twister that tunnels them to purgatory. Esu rescues Suje. Tashin will destroy the world to get his price back. The ass is just icing on fathomless energy that Tashin knows will give him dominance over all in existence.
