Job Summary
We are looking for a sound designer and recordist to complement the work of the other creatives in the team in providing the sound for various types of video content. This is likely to include creating or sourcing music and sound effects to go with idents and animations, as well as ensuring high quality recordings for voice overs and interviews.
The Sound Designer and Recordist will be working with other creatives to provide sound design and/or recording services for:
- An animated version of the logo to top and tail all videos.
- Idents for brand campaigns.
- An explainer video to tell potential members what Cahootify’s all about.
- Various “how to” videos for common Cahootify tasks/use cases.
- A promo teaser for the Cahootify “JustMakeIt!” Conference.
- Promo teasers for each talk/event at the Cahootify “JustMakeIt!” Conference.
- Promo teasers for each Cahootify course.
- Various live interviews (with Cahootify members, tutors, conference speakers, course participants).
Basic Requirements
- Proof of experience in sound design and recording, such as a BA in Music Technology.
- A portfolio with examples of work.
- Strong experience with relevant software.
- Experience in a similar role in the industry would be helpful but is not essential.
- Able to work remotely.
- Good internet connection and access to Zoom for video calls.
