Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate who has experience in creative filmmaking, animation and video editing to create stand-alone promotional idents as well as animated elements for Cahootify’s other videos, including an animated version of the logo. Idents may be on the theme of “Just Make It!”.
The Animator/Filmmaker will be (often in collaboration with the Promo Video Creator and other team members):
- Creating an animated version of the logo to top and tail all videos.
- Working with the founder and other creatives to come up with ideas for brand idents along the theme of “JustMakeIt!” – with the target of creating collateral that goes viral.
- Creating idents for brand campaigns for selected ideas.
- Creating an explainer video to tell potential members what Cahootify’s all about.
- Creating a promo teaser for each Cahootify course.
- Creating a promo teaser for the Cahootify “JustMakeIt!” Conference.
- Creating promo teasers for each talk/event at the Cahootify “JustMakeIt!” Conference.
Basic Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut.
- Examples of animated work to show (2D, 3D, traditional, CG, any style).
- Experience in one or more animation software tools would be helpful but is not essential.
- Experience in a similar role in the industry would be helpful but is not essential.
- Able to work remotely.
- Good internet connection and access to Zoom for video calls.
