Producer

We are looking for a Producer to come on board our short film project, Hard Bread.

The project is in development with writer and actor, Raquel Grela, and myself as director and producer.

We are looking for someone who has experience managing a budget, raising finance and taking the lead in coordinating a short film shoot.

The story covers relevant themes of protest, injustice, and living in the UK as a foreign person.

Logline: Struggling to find her voice in the UK, Madrid-born Julieta attempts to rally her co-workers to fight against their boss’ injustice. Losing hope, she turns to memories of civil protest in Spain with her mother to find inspiration, and remembers the power of activism in this coming-of-age drama.

We are hoping to shoot Spring 2021 in Bristol and the film will do the festival circuit. You do not have to be local to Bristol but having a base here would be a bonus.
