Recipient of a First Class BA Honours Degree in Film Studies at Falmouth University. Currently reading for an MA in Film and Television at the University of Bristol. I am a published journalist, journalism editor, and varied filmmaker. I have experience with camerawork, editingsound recording, and directing having been involved in various documentary, experimental, and narrative film projects.

I have interviewed filmmakers Jamie Adams (director of Songbird and Black Mountain Poets), the Blaine brothers (directors of Nina Forever), and Alex Crowton (co-director of The Sad & Beautiful World of Sparklehorse) - all established, independent filmmakers with great advice on how to break into the industry. These journalism projects have enabled for me to learn from key industry professionals.

Aside from working in many departments on my own projects, I have worked as a 1st AD, Production Assistant, and Runner on the upcoming short film Off Grid, a horror film starring James Cosmo (Braveheart and Game of Thrones), Alison Steadman (Pride & Prejudice and Gavin & Stacey), Mark Baylis (Coronation Street), and Kate Davies-Speak (Horizon).

I am currently undergoing my Postgraduate dissertation; a documentary projects called Rose which scrutinises the relationship between photography and film. The subject is my Grandmother as she comes to terms with cancer and prepares her mind for the inevitable.
